the intersection of craft and caffè
Her material sensibility extends into design-driven collaborations; for Sunflower Caffè, Kala has developed cups and matcha bowls through thoughtful, in-person conversations shared over lunch at the caffè and studio visits with owners, James and Mila.
These creative sessions, centered on Sunflower's brand, food quality, and community quietly inform the shape and functionality of the work while Kala's design sensibility gives an overall organic feeling, showing her reverence for the handmade. Finely crafted in iron rich clay, these pottery pieces will bring joy to your table.
